For all Blue Water BREB (BWB) activities, the focus is on people, environment, and quality. Customers, employees and service providers are treated with the same respect and deemed the same importance for the success of the company. BWB attaches great importance to a good working atmosphere and fair work environment, as well as the promotion of individual development potential. The certified Integrated Management System regulates the Code of Conduct and Compliance Regulations.
MELLORA: BWB uses the Mellora HSEQ-app. This online processing tool for analysing, reporting and continuous improvements, fulfils all requirements for various Safety, Quality, Environmental and Security standards and other guidelines, laws and regulations. The smartphone-application is also used for reporting non-conformance, accidents, near miss and improvement proposals related to safety and quality (HSEQ).
LLOYD’S REGISTER: BWB, working under the Integrated Management System, is certified according to the internationally officially highest offshore-standards ISO 14001:2015 - Environment, ISO 9001:2015 – Quality, and ISO 45001:2018 – Health & Safety: applicable to the offshore industry and to Seaport Terminal Handling and Logistics. This management system includes working procedures, law compliance system, measurable and defined goals for all aspects of health, safety, quality and environmental complex aiming for consistent improvement and is certified and approved by Lloyd´s Register.
BG VERKEHR: Blue Water BREB has voluntary assigned the BG Verkehr, German Government Safety Organisation, to check and certify the Health & Safety system.
SUPPLY-CHAINS: In connection with our Integrated Management System, our suppliers and supply-chains are constantly monitored and evaluated according to all legal and quality standards in a certified procedure. As a standing order, BWB requires all partners and service-providers to operate environmentally friendly, safe and in accordance to BWB´s high compliance standards.
The Blue Water BREB terminal’s electricity is supplied with 100% renewable energy sources, certified by TÜV NORD.
KNOWLEDGE AND SAFETY TRAININGS: Our employees are regularly trained and receive safety instructions. We also train our own certified trainers and put great emphasize on hr-development.
PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Our employees wear high standard - personal protective equipment which is regularly checked and maintained.
HOLISTIC-WELLBEING-APPROACH: We attach great importance to the health of our employees. For example, we offer the opportunity to lease a bicycle or take part in company fitness training.
The company doctor carries out regular health examinations. The health care goes beyond the legal regulations.
Company Doctor & Specialist For Occupational Safety (Fasi): Our company doctor and occupational safety specialist held quarterly safety meetings.
